Lions place QB Stafford on COVID-19 list again

NFL

Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford missed Wednesday’s practice and was placed on the COVID-19 reserve list by the club.

This means either Stafford tested positive for COVID-19 or was in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.

Stafford now joins linebacker Jarrad Davis on the COVID-19 list after Davis was placed on the list Tuesday. The two cases, according to a source with knowledge of the situation, are not related.
