Blue Jays agree to one-year deal with LHP Ray

Free-agent pitcher Robbie Ray and the Toronto Blue Jays have reached agreement on a one-year contract worth $8 million, a source told ESPN’s Jeff Passan.

Ray was in the midst of his sixth season with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2020 when they traded him to Toronto.

Ray was 1-4 with a 7.84 ERA in 11 starts this season.
