A bloodied Kawhi Leonard was forced to leave the LA Clippers‘ 121-108 win at the Denver Nuggets in the fourth quarter after taking an inadvertent elbow to the face from teammate Serge Ibaka.
Ibaka was going up for a rebound when his elbow collided with Leonard’s face.
Leonard immediately collapsed to the floor and was later seen bleeding profusely from the mouth before he was helped back to the locker room with 6:07 left in the fourth quarter.
He was later ruled out for the remainder of Friday’s contest.
Leonard departed with the Clippers up 108-97. He had 21 points, seven assists, five rebounds and four steals in 30 minutes.
