UFC women’s bantamweight fighter Marion Reneau tested positive for the coronavirus and her bout with Macy Chiasson is now off the UFC Fight Night card Saturday in Las Vegas, Reneau announced Thursday on Instagram.

Reneau wrote that the bout will be postponed to Feb. 27. Sources confirmed to ESPN that the fight was moved to that date.

“I appreciate Macy and her camp for being professional and willing to make this fight happen,” Reneau wrote.

Reneau (9-6-1-) is trying to snap a three-fight losing streak. Chiasson (6-1), a former The Ultimate Fighter winner, is looking to break into a contender spot in the women’s 135-pound division.

The UFC lost three other fighters for this Saturday’s card — its first in the United States in 2021 — earlier this week. Andre Ewell and Julio Arce withdrew due to COVID-19 protocols, and Alex Da Silva suffered an undisclosed injury. All three were replaced in their scheduled bouts.

UFC Fight Night on Saturday is headlined by a heavyweight contender bout between MMA legend Alistair Overeem and Alexander Volkov. In the co-main event, former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar meets rising bantamweight contender Cory Sandhagen.
