NBA

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has cleared the NBA’s health and safety protocols and is expected to play in Monday’s home game against the Miami Heat, a source told The Undefeated.

Green played 34 minutes in the Warriors’ Christmas Day win over the Phoenix Suns, dishing out 10 assists while scoring eight points and pulling down eight rebounds.

The three-time NBA champion was placed in the protocols afterwards. The Warriors are off on Sunday, but Green is now free to work out at the Chase Center if he chooses to.

Green is averaging 8.4 points, 7.9 rebounds and 7.5 assists this season. The Warriors went 1-1 in his absence.
