Man Utd statement over Greenwood allegations

Manchester United are working “to establish the facts” after allegations were made against striker Mason Greenwood.

In a statement issued on Sunday morning, the club said they were aware of images posted on social media in relation to claims made against Greenwood, 20.

The statement said: “We are aware of images and allegations circulating on social media.

“We will not make any further comment until the facts have been established. Manchester United does not condone violence of any kind.”
