The 2024 Stanley Cup Final is upon us, with Game 1 on Saturday (8 p.m. ET, ABC/ESPN+). From a field of 16 teams to start the postseason, the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers have emerged as the two final combatants.
For the Oilers, a Cup win would be the franchise’s sixth, but the first since 1990 and the first for any Canadian team since 1993. As for the Panthers, a win would be a franchise first.
