Formula 1 is back after a three-week break, with a final triple-header to close out the 2024 season.

The second running of the Las Vegas Grand Prix at the Strip Circuit is first up from 22-24 November.

Following his stunning win from 17th place at a chaotic Sao Paulo Grand Prix earlier this month, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen now leads Lando Norris in the drivers’ championship by 62 points with 86 still available.

The Dutchman will secure a fourth consecutive world title if he leaves Las Vegas with a lead of at least 60 points.

Session start times and BBC coverage

Commentary will be available across BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra, BBC Sounds and the BBC Sport website and app. Sunday’s race will be on BBC Radio 5 Live.

Last time out in Interlagos, the weather caused an incident-strewn event, but the early forecast for this weekend in Las Vegas suggests it will be dry across all three days of track action.

Saturday’s qualifying session and Sunday’s 50-lap grand prix will see temperatures of around 18 to 19C, while the risk of rain is zero.
