The penultimate race of the 2024 season heads to the Lusail International Circuit for the Qatar Grand Prix from 29 November-1 December.
Red Bull’s Max Verstappen secured his fourth consecutive drivers’ title with fifth place in the Las Vegas Grand Prix. George Russell led team-mate Lewis Hamilton to a Mercedes one-two, with Carlos Sainz finishing third for Ferrari.
Qatar is the final sprint event of the campaign, so extra points will be on offer for finishing in the top eight in the shorter 100km race.

What is the Qatar weather forecast?
Pleasant temperatures and a moderate to fresh breeze is the early forecast for the second race of this final triple-header.
The conditions should be dry across all three days of track action in Doha, with temperatures around 19C to 20C for Saturday’s qualifying session and Sunday’s race.
Who can win the constructors’ title?
Max Verstappen has wrapped up the drivers’ title but in the constructors’ championship, the fight is still ongoing.
McLaren lead second-placed Ferrari by 24 points after the race in Las Vegas with the Scuderia finishing higher and claiming a podium place through Carlos Sainz.
Reigning champions Red Bull are still in third place, 53 points adrift of McLaren and 29 points behind Ferrari.
