Bellator MMA lightweight prospect Aaron Pico has booked his next fight, against John de Jesus on Nov. 12, according to multiple sources.

Contracts have not been signed, but both sides have verbally agreed to the matchup. The Nov. 12 event is expected to take place at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

After an 0-2 campaign in 2019, Pico (6-3) has righted the ship in a big way in 2020. He is 2-0 this year, with back-to-back finishes. He knocked out Daniel Carey in January and submitted Solo Hatley in July. Pico, 24, trains out of Jackson Wink MMA in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

De Jesus (13-8) will be making his second appearance in Bellator and is riding a three-fight win streak. The eight-year veteran is also 2-0 in 2020 and has finished two of his last three fights by knockout.
