Brit Harris ousted by Musetti in Queen’s quarters

Britain’s Billy Harris was beaten by Italy’s Lorenzo Musetti 6-3, 7-5 in their quarterfinal match at the Queen’s Club Championship on Friday.

Musetti started fast and won the first set with relative ease as Harris took a while to warm into the match.

Harris improved in the second set but still found himself getting frustrated as Musetti refused to let up. The pair went game for game before the Italian found another level to close out the match.

Britain’s Jack Draper, who shocked World No.2 and defending Queen’s champion Carlos Alcaraz on Thursday, is in action in his quarterfinal against American Tommy Paul on Friday afternoon.

Earlier, Australian Jordan Thompson — who Andy Murray was forced to withdraw against in their second round match due to injury — beat American Taylor Fritz 6-4, 6-3 to advance to the semifinals.

Musetti and Thompson will meet in the semifinals.
