Golden Boy Promotions rolled out the full card for its Aug. 28 show at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, California, headlined by three-division champion Jorge Linares facing Javier Fortuna in a 12-round lightweight bout.

In the semi-main event, Rashidi Ellis (22-0, 14 KOs) will face Brad Solomon (28-3, 9 KOs) in a 10-round welterweight fight. The undefeated Ellis is currently rated ninth by the WBA.

“I’m coming to make a statement. I’m coming to show that I’m the best welterweight in the division and that I’m ready for a title shot,” said Ellis, who out-pointed Eddie Gomez over 10 rounds in his last fight, back in November.

“Rashidi Ellis is a big problem for anyone at 147 pounds,” said promoter Oscar De La Hoya. “He may very well have the quickest hands in boxing, and he’s eager to fight the very best in the division.”

Highly touted super middleweight prospect Bektemir Melikuziev (5-0, 4 KOs) matches up against Alan Campa (17-5, 11 KOs) in a scheduled 10-round contest.

Welterweight hopeful Alexis Rocha (16-0, 10 KOs) faces Jameson Bacon (23-4, 15 KOs) of the Philippines in a 10-round bout. Junior lightweight contender Lamont Roach (19-1-1, 7 KOs) takes on Neil Tabano (17-7, 11 KOs) in a 10-round fight. Roach is coming off a 12-round decision loss to current WBO 130-pound title holder Jamel Herring in his last outing back in November.

Rounding out the card is an eight-round female flyweight bout between Marlen Esparza (7-1, 1 KOs) and Jacky Calvo (12-5-1, 1 KO).
