Sources: Khabilov signs multifight Bellator deal

Former UFC stalwart Rustam Khabilov has signed a multifight deal with Bellator, sources told ESPN.

Khabilov (24-4) has won seven of his past eight fights. He most recently fought for the UFC last November, defeating Sergey Khandozhko via unanimous decision. That was the last fight on Khabilov’s UFC contract.

Khabilov has been in the UFC since 2012. He holds notable victories over Jorge Masvidal, Yancy Medeiros and Leandro Silva.

He will likely compete in Bellator’s lightweight division, though his debut isn’t set yet, sources say.
