The UFC has lost a fight from its card this weekend on weigh-in day.

Ramazan Kuramagomedov fell ill and was deemed medically unfit to compete at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas, UFC officials confirmed with ESPN on Friday. MMAFighting.com was first to report the news. The illness is not COVID-related.

Kuramagomedov’s scheduled opponent Alex Oliveira will not be booked against another foe and that bout has been removed from the card.

Kuramagomedov (8-0) is a top welterweight prospect out of Dagestan, Russia, who would have been making his UFC debut. Oliveira (22-9-1) has won two of three.

UFC Fight Night will be headlined by a heavyweight bout between Jairzinho Rozenstruik and undefeated rising star Cyril Gane. ESPN has Rozenstruik ranked No. 4 in the world at heavyweight with Gane coming in at No. 8. Rozenstruik weighed in at 254.5 pounds Friday and Gane was 247.

Maxim Grishin missed weight by 4.5 pounds, coming in at 210.5 pounds for a light heavyweight bout with Dustin Jacoby. Grishin will forfeit 30% of his purse to Jacoby and the bout will go on as scheduled, per the UFC.
